This is a main contractor specializing in projects across premium residential, density residential and other light commercial builds – $1M - $5M. This contractor has its own labour force with a staff compliment of around 20. They undertake their own developments as well. They have a cohesive team and are feely social in culture.They are now looking for an intermediate QS that will work across all their projects with a team of QS's together with two Directors and PMs. As systems are set up, you will be stepping into established systems and will be trained as such:Your role will involve* Scheduling/estimating/take offs* Tender preparation* Bills of quantities* Cost and contract management* Procurement and administration of subcontractors and suppliers* Progress claims and assessing variations* Visiting sites and liaising with the project managerI am looking for an experienced QS with an interest in working for a high-end residential contractor. You are an experienced quantity surveyor of at least 5 years coming from a main contractor background in high end residential or density residential and with a relevant tertiary degree. You can multi manage several projects on the go between $500K- $5M.
