Job DescriptionFlexible working hoursOpen to employee & contractor arrangementsExcellent hourly rate ($25-$35 per hour depending on experience and quals)Due to growth, we are looking for a Trades Person / Hammerhand / Carpenter / Builder who is keen to develop their skills and grow within our friendly, family-focused team.We provide all sorts of property maintenance services to our valued customers based throughout the south auckland region.You’ll need to be willing and able to do building, painting, gardening, decking, general carpentry, cleaning gutters, digging holes, planting posts, fencing, fixing shelves, renovating bathrooms, fixing doors and much more…For the right person, we can provide flexible hours and a competitive hourly rate.Ideally you’ll be able to commit to 30 hours per week but this isn’t a deal breaker.About you:Reliable, friendly, proactive team player with a can-do attitudeProven ability to build rapport with customers and ability to communicate effectivelyExcellent problem-solving skillsStrong eye for detail and desire to deliver high quality workThe ability to work in a team environment and autonomously as requiredFull drivers licence and physically fitBe able to safely work most hand tools (manual, battery &/or electrically powered)Experience in trades such as building, property maintenace, landscaping etc.A commitment to safety-first work practices and understanding of H&S requirementsYou'll ideally have a desire to grow your skills, and may even be working towards or keen on gaining a qualification in building.About us:We are a family owned business that’s been operating for over 20 years.Our team is small, friendly, and family-focused.
