This is a full-time, permanent role newly created to manage and drive all aspects of people and culture across Rinnai NZ based in Auckland and Central Heating NZ based in Christchurch, so that staff are best positioned to achieve strategic outcomes whilst feeling valued and appreciated for all that they do.Your key areas of responsibility and accountability will be:Developing the strategic plan for people capability across the Rinnai and CHNZ business Providing the leadership required to motivate and inspire people as well as being a trusted leader within the organisationPositioning the business for equality, diversity, and well-being in the futureManaging the workforce planning process to ensure a planned approach and adequate cover across the businessManaging a diverse range of people related functions, including Employment Relations, Recruitment, Onboarding, Remuneration, and EngagementUndertaking budget forecasting, management, and reportingTO SUCCEED YOU WILL NEED:More than five years’ experience working in a Human Resources/People & Culture leadership roleStrong knowledge of the New Zealand employment relationship landscape and experience managing a wide range of HR disciplinesExperience developing, implementing, and achieving people capability outcomes across a business with an understanding of competency frameworksExceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with high integrity and honesty, which you use to promote positive relationships at all levels Strong analytical ability and digital proficiency that will assist in increasing efficiencies and driving for business resultsIN RETURN, WE PROVIDE:A competitive remuneration package;An incentive programme;Southern Cross (fully subsidised);Birthday leave;Staff, family and friends buying;Training and development;Long service leave;A positive team environment.This is a key leadership and impact role with an organisation that offers a stable and positive work environment where we share social time together, work hard at achieving ambitious business goals, and recognise and reward our achievements.
