You will create an outstanding experience by teaching skills and imparting your knowledge to akonga in either full time or part time study and in practical and theoretical settings. You will be responsible for teaching and contributing towards student attendance, course guide information, curriculum development, student results, moderation, progress reports and resource bookings. Ko wai koe | About youThe successful applicant will have:· A desire to help akonga learn· Thorough knowledge of the hospitality industry with practical skills and experience· A degree in a relevant field· Strong industry networks and connection· An understanding of Te Ao Maori · Excellent communication skills· Competent computer literacy skills · Strong relationship-building skills· Experience in research would be an advantage· A willingness for collaboration, as you will be working co-operatively with the Food Design Institutes teams and the wider College of Creative Practice and EnterpriseA teaching qualification is desirable or working towards one as is competence in assessing student needs, developing individual learning plans, lesson planning and moderation.
