Working in partnership with a well-respected and connected Kaiāwhina, you will visit whānau mostly in their homes and host clinics. As a duo, you will support whānau in Taumarunui. Given you will be the sole nurse in the community, being able to practice independently and having existing connections in the Taumarunui community will be especially advantageous. It is an exciting time to join the Taumarunui team and be at the forefront of providing holistic care with our immunisation clinic set to begin in 2025. You will support Taumarunui pēpi and whānau from the time they are discharged from their midwife (or other LMC) through to their final check, which takes place around 3 years old.
