The Role | Te tūnga As a Community Research Interviewer at Ipsos you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of New Zealand.
You will encourage participation in public policy surveys and engage with selected households through scripted interviews face‐to‐face (typically 30‐45 minutes per interview).
All Interviewers are commission paid Independent Contractors.
You can work flexibly and manage your own workload, but we are looking for Interviewers who have flexibility with daytime, evenings and weekend availability.
We set you up to succeed with comprehensive preparation, tailored systems, guidance, and ongoing support from experienced regional field leads.
We are specifically recruiting in South Auckland for interviewers who can deliver on long‐term continuous surveys that provide vital information to develop public policy development and services.

We are currently recruiting for the New Zealand Health Survey which collects information about the health and wellbeing of adults and children in New Zealand on behalf of the Ministry of Health.
Information collected supports the development of health services, policy and strategy.
What You Bring | Nōu te rourou Skills required: Confidence approaching and engaging with people in person Resilience and the ability to handle diverse situations A positive attitude and strong work ethic Self‐motivated, ability to work independently with excellent time management skills Trustworthy and reliable Confidence in using computers and electronic devices to collect and record data Practical requirements Be prepared to work as a self‐employed independent contractor A full New Zealand Driver's License and access to own reliable vehicle Stable and reliable internet at home Physically fit and well Be prepared to travel within South Auckland region Hours and Renumeration Interviewers are paid per interview.
Earnings vary across interviewers and regions; bonus rates apply for higher response rates.
There is generous reimbursement for travel, and all necessary equipment is provided.
