Position: Retail Manager
Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation
Hours: 38 hours per week
Mode: Full-time
Location: 227 Great Eastern Highway, Burswood WA 6100

Anytime Deli, a well-loved food and deli destination known for quality products and personalised service, is seeking a dedicated Retail Manager to lead our team and drive our business forward. As Retail Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the direction of our store, ensuring excellent customer experiences, and supporting the continued growth of our brand.
Key Responsibilities include, but not be limited to:
Operational Leadership & Product Oversight
• Lead daily operations across deli, takeaway, and grocery sections to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Manage the range of fresh deli items, ready-to-eat meals, beverages, and convenience products.
• Adjust product mix based on customer demand, seasonal trends, and sales performance.
Stock Planning, Purchasing & Pricing Strategy
• Oversee ordering of deli, food, and grocery stock to maintain consistent availability.
• Coordinate with suppliers to balance quality, cost efficiency, and product variety.
• Implement pricing strategies aligned with operational costs and market conditions.
• Minimise wastage through stock rotation and demand forecasting.
Local Marketing & Business Growth
• Support and implement in-store promotions and local marketing initiatives.
• Coordinate promotional campaigns and seasonal product highlights.
• Assist in strengthening brand visibility within the local community.
Customer Experience & Sales Leadership
• Assist customers with product selection and takeaway orders when required.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Foster a positive, customer-focused culture within the team.
Financial Management & Record Keeping
• Maintain accurate records of daily sales, stock movements, and transactions.
• Assist in preparing budgets and monitoring operational costs.
• Analyse sales trends to support business decision-making.
• Support financial controls to maintain store profitability.
Team Leadership, Training & Development
• Recruit, train, and supervise staff across deli and retail operations.
• Prepare staff rosters to meet operational requirements, including peak periods.
• Provide ongoing coaching to improve performance and service consistency.
Compliance, Safety & Operational Standards
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Maintain workplace health and safety procedures across all areas of the store.
• Conduct regular cleanliness and safety checks.
• Ensure staff follow operational policies and procedures at all times.
Qualifications:
• Diploma in Business or Management (preferred but not required)

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Retail Manager or in relevant roles
• Proven experience in retail management or a related leadership position, ideally in a food service/deli or hospitality setting.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, coach, and inspire a team.
• Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
