We are currently searching for an outstanding individual tojoin our Commercial bay (Auckland CBD) team, as a Christmas casual - Retail Sales Assistant This is an exciting opportunity to share your passion for art and work for a long- standing New Zealand owned retail business. We love connecting our customers to our creatives, growing our community of raving fans for NZ creativity. We sell a range of prints, homeware, giftware, jewellery & ceramics by people throughout NZ. Our ideal applicant is brave and enthusiastic who continually strives to be the best version of themselves. They are reliable, honest and punctual with a willingness to learn, a problem solver who can work well alone (working sole charge) and alongside our small team to deliver a great shopping experience to our customers. You will develop your customer service skills and enhance your knowledge of NZ artisans and their creative process. You will provide customers with excellent service, assist with store and stock maintenance, website order processing and share your knowledge and passion of our products and artists. Our store is located in the heart of Newmarket, by bus stops and the train station. This is a Christmas casual role (flexible start date), It is approximately 20 hours per week through Dec 2022. With the option to take on more hours as our store will need more cover from time-to-time. Flexibility to cover sickness at short notice is preferred.
