WHAT TO DASH Not just restaurant orders! We also partner with other retailers to offer speedy door-to-door delivery for local customers. We've partnered with top NZ merchants to bring you quality orders. WHEN TO DASH That’s up to you! Part-time or extra time - you tell us when you’re available. WHERE TO DASH That’s up to you too! We’ll only show you dashes for the areas you selected. HOW TO DASH You guessed it - also up to you! Car, e-bike, scooter, unicycle… whatever your wheels. GET READY TO DASH We’ll get a few details from you so we can do a quick background check. WHAT HAPPENS THEN? We’ll get you to do a couple of onboarding sessions, such as an online food safety training. You’ll be able to download the Dasher app and tell us when and where you want to dash. A FEW LAST BITS You’ll need to hold NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa to be a Dasher. DoorDash drivers (Dashers) are independent contractors. That means you’ll need to sort out your own tax, but we help make it easy by giving you detailed breakdowns of your earnings. If you’re using a motor vehicle to dash, you’ll need a licence and your vehicle will need a current rego and WOF.

Shopping generally refers to the act of buying products. Lower Hutt (Māori: Te Awakairangi) is a city in the Wellington Region of the North Island of New Zealand. Administered by the Hutt City Council, it is one of the four cities that constitute the Wellington metropolitan area. It is New Zealand's sixth most populous city, with a population of 111,800. The total area administered by the Council is 377 km2 (146 sq mi) around the lower half of the Hutt Valley and along the eastern shores of Wellington Harbour, of which 135 km2 (52 sq mi) is urban. It is separated from the city of Wellington by the harbour, and from Upper Hutt by the Taita Gorge. Lower Hutt is unique among New Zealand cities, as the name of the council does not match the name of the city it governs. Special legislation has since 1991 given the council the name "Hutt City Council", while the name of the place itself remains "Lower Hutt City". This name has led to confusion, as Upper Hutt is administered by a separate city council, the Upper Hutt City Council.
