Mitre 10 is part of New Zealand's DIY DNA, as one of New Zealand's most trusted home improvement brand, and we are opening a new store in Wellington Central.
We are looking for a Drive Thru Manager who has strong leadership experience of 2 years plus with big box experience and have an interest or knowledge in the building industry, can deliver exceptional customer service both to our DIY customers and to our Tradies.
You will have a willingness to learn building products, materials and their applications to assist our Trade and DIY customers.
As well as understanding the importance of providing outstanding customer service each and every time to all our customers no matter what their background might be.
Ideal Candidate A passion for excellence customer service Strong leadership skills Physically fit and able to do heavy lifting to support the team Excellent communication and organizational skills The ability to motivate, coach and empower the team to perform at their best Reporting and analytical skills Previous retail experience and/or experience within the building industry will be viewed very favourably.
To be considered for this role you will need to have a full current drivers license, plus a F endorsement would be an advantage, but not essential as Forklift training will be given.
This is a full-time role with a minimum of 40 hours per week, including one weekend day.
