The Position The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a critical role in driving top-of-funnel growth across a defined segment or product.
This role identifies, engages, qualifies prospective customers through inbound and outbound prospecting, uncovers client needs, educates prospects, and generates qualified opportunities to support pipeline development and revenue performance.
The role requires strong communication, curiosity, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Responsibilities Generate new business opportunities through inbound and outbound prospecting, including email, phone, social channels, events, and campaigns for the ANZ Region, market ENT Segment (Enterprise, 2000+ employees).
Identify, research, and qualify prospective clients by understanding their needs, challenges, and readiness to engage with sales.
Create and execute outreach sequences, including personalized email campaigns and cold-calling to map and penetrate accounts.
Engage existing customers as needed to identify cross-sell or expansion opportunities within a defined segment or product (as applicable to the team).
Educate and nurture leads to progress toward a qualified meeting or next step in the buyer journey.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date lead and activity data in CRM and sales engagement tools.
Collaborate with Account Executives to ensure smooth and effective handoffs of qualified opportunities.
Partner with Sales, Marketing, and other teams to refine lead-generation processes, messaging, and workflow improvements.
Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified meetings, Sales Qualified Opportunities, and pipeline contribution.
Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and skill development.
Qualifications Located in Australia/ New Zealand3+ years of experience as an SDRExperience in a sales development, business development, or outbound commercial role Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage prospects across multiple channels Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and remote-friendly environment Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities and outreach activities Proven track record of meeting or exceeding activity and pipeline-generation targets Comfortable working autonomously and sourcing solutions independently Experience with CRM systems and sales engagement tools is a plus Entrepreneurial mindset with a growth orientation; adaptable to process, product, or market changes Strong written communication skills for crafting outreach messages and campaigns Experience in HR tech, fintech, or high-growth startups is beneficial but not required Total Rewards Our workforce deserves fair and competitive pay with scalable benefits, rewards, and perks reflecting our commitment to inclusivity and access for all.
