Job summary
Lead Intelligence Analyst role within the Biosecurity Intelligence (BSI) team
Produce forward-looking assessment, early warning, and predictive analysis of changes in the global biosecurity environment
Work with a multi-disciplinary team of intelligence professionals, scientists, and data experts
Job seniority:mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Conduct and coach complex or challenging analysis
• Deliver expert intelligence analysis and integrate big data
• Lead BSI's most complex intelligence projects
• Support analysts' technical development
• Establish and maintain internal and external networks
• Engage with other government agencies within New Zealand and abroad
Requirements
• At least five years of experience in relevant intelligence analysis roles
• Experience in coaching analysts and delivering training in intelligence tools and methodologies
• Experience in developing and managing relationships with partners and stakeholders
• Track record of contributing to high-quality outcomes for decision-makers
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary and inter-agency environments
