The Role We are seeking a skilled and experienced Finance professional to join our client's team, providing support in year-end closing and reporting.

You will be a proactive self-starter who will roll your sleeves up and hit the ground running with minimal training. Your background should include a solid understanding of financial processes and reporting, ensuring compliance in statutory and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include: Support month end and year-end preparation and reporting including GL balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, information disclosure, debtors clearing.

Assist with annual statutory accounts preparation and supporting external audit process.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Lead the annual insurance renewal process to ensure appropriate cover is retained at renewal.

Drive continuous improvement within the reporting processes and systems and exploring opportunities to leverage Power BI.

About you The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in performing financial accounting duties and have a strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and financial reporting standards.

You will be proficient in chart of accounts, adeptness in handling balance sheet reconciliation.

As a key contributor to the year-end reporting process, you will be working closely with the wider Finance and Commercial team to ensure seamless delivery of annual report.

You will demonstrate an intuitive approach to problem solving and also bring strong communication and interpersonal abilities to actively contribute to our dynamic work environment.
