About the Role As Senior Advisor, you'll play a key role in providing high-quality advice and support across a diverse portfolio of property matters.
You'll be involved in complex and often high-profile property transactions, development opportunities, and advisory work spanning both the public and private sectors.
This role requires someone who can navigate multiple perspectives and stakeholders — including government agencies, iwi partners, and private sector clients — while delivering outcomes that balance commercial, legal, and social considerations.
Key Responsibilities Provide strategic and technical advice on complex property transactions, negotiations, and development projects.
Support decision-making with robust analysis and clear, well-structured recommendations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including iwi, public sector agencies, and private partners.
Contribute to the development of policies, frameworks, and strategies that drive best practice in property management and development.
Ensure all advice and documentation meets high professional, legal, and ethical standards.
About You We're looking for someone who brings a mix of commercial awareness, relationship management, and critical thinking.
You'll be confident navigating complex property, legal, or financial issues and able to communicate advice clearly to a range of audiences.
You'll Ideally Have A relevant tertiary qualification in Law, Finance, Property, or a related discipline.
Experience in property development, advisory, or transactional work, ideally involving complex or multi-stakeholder projects.
A breadth of experience across public and private sectors (highly advantageous).
Experience working with iwi or a strong understanding of Maori interests in land and property.
Exceptional communication and analytical skills, with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
