Rakon is searching for an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to join us on a fixed‐term (7 months) basis to cover maternity leave.
This role plays a key part in shaping and delivering the People & Capability function for our New Zealand Business Unit (NZBU), partnering closely with leaders to support a dynamic, high‐performance environment, while also contributing to the development of our global initiatives.
What you'll be doing: Strategic Partnership/Business Partnering Build strong relationships with leaders to develop and deliver P& C strategies aligned with Rakon's business objectives.
Provide trusted advice on people matters including talent, culture, workforce planning, succession planning, organisational development and change management.
P& C Operational Excellence Manage induction, onboarding and offboarding processes Support and lead change management processes, including HR process improvements and HR system/HRIS changes/payroll system changes.
Provide guidance on performance management, employee relations, Assist with policy and guideline updates Coach and mentor people leaders to grow leadership capability.
Champion diversity, equity and inclusion across the business.

Play an active role in promoting and embedding safety and wellbeing initiatives.
Various administrative H& S duties and responsibilities including booking training, ad hoc initiatives, coordination of H & S meetings, providing data for reporting purposes etc What you'll bring Tertiary qualification in HR or a related discipline.5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in an advisory or HR business partnering capacity.
Strong understanding of NZ employment law and HR best practice.
Demonstrated experience and interest in implementing HR system changes (Bamboo HR experience would be highly beneficial)Experience in change management, including HR process transformation Solid experience in talent acquisition and recruitment Experience working in a manufacturing environment is highly advantageous.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, influencing and problem‐solving skills.
Ability to work autonomously in a fast‐paced environment with high integrity and discretion.
