Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position in Auckland for a Senior Solicitor and an opportunity with a path to ownership. We’re not just looking for a Senior Solicitor, we’re looking for someone who wants to build a long-term home in a firm and play a meaningful role in its future. At Websterlaw, you will step into a well-established practice with a loyal, multi-generational client base and with a genuine opportunity to become part of the firm’s succession and ownership plans.
Responsibilities You will work across a broad range of matters, including:
Residential and commercial property transactions
Business sales and acquisitions
Leasing and building contracts
Wills, estates, and EPAs
Relationship property and employment matters
Trusts and asset planning
Occupation Right Agreements
This is a hands-on role where you’ll have real client contact, responsibility, and the opportunity to shape how you practise. A wide range of work where no two days are the same.
About you You’re likely a Senior Solicitor with 5+ years PQE who:
Is commercially minded and provides practical, clear advice
Has a strong work ethic, balancing work independently as well as part of a team
Values building long-term client relationships
Enjoys (or wants to return to) genuine general practice
