We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foreman to lead our teams and ensure the successful completion of our construction projects. Position Overview:As a Foreman or site manager you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating our construction projects. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and manage a team of skilled carpenters, skilled labourers and equipment operators, ensuring the safe and efficient execution of projects while maintaining the highest quality standards. Your leadership and expertise will be instrumental in achieving project success. This is a great opportunity for an experienced carpenter or civil contractor to get off the tools and help the management team grow the business. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and lead a team of construction professionals, promoting teamwork and productivity.Plan, schedule, and coordinate project activities, including resource allocation, equipment utilization, and material procurement.Interpret project plans and specifications, ensuring precise implementation.Monitor project progress, help allocate resources effectively, and make adjustments as needed to meet project timelines and budget constraints.Uphold strict adherence to safety regulations and industry best practices.Conduct regular quality inspections to ensure work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to promptly address project-related challenges.Maintain accurate records of daily activities, job site conditions, equipment usage, and material inventory.Qualifications: Proven experience as a Foreman in building and civil construction projects.In-depth knowledge of construction, civil and hardscaping materials, techniques, and equipment.Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and project specifications.Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Familiarity with safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.If this sounds like the opportunity for you, send your C.V and Cover letter to mailto:****** All applicants must hold a valid NZ visa.
