Fred Recruitment Pte Ltd – New Plymouth, North Island The Opportunity We're partnering with an established HVAC business that's about to launch a new operation in Taranaki - and they're looking for an experienced HVAC Site Supervisor to help make it happen.
This is a genuine greenfields opportunity.
Not a maintenance role and not one where you'll be sitting on the sidelines.
You'll be leading commercial installation projects on site, coordinating crews and playing a key role in setting up the company's presence in the region.

You'll be the person on site who keeps things moving – managing teams, coordinating trades, and ensuring installs are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
The Company This privately owned HVAC company has more than 50 years of experience delivering heating and cooling solutions across the Waikato.
They've built a strong reputation for quality workmanship and long-term client relationships across both residential and commercial projects.
With new contracts secured in the Taranaki region, they're now expanding their footprint and need a capable supervisor who can lead from the front and help establish operations locally.
About the Role In this role, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day delivery of commercial HVAC installation projects, including: Supervising on-site HVAC installation, commissioning and maintenance Managing technicians, subcontractors and labour crews Interpreting mechanical drawings, specifications and project schedules Running toolbox talks, safety briefings and site inspections Coordinating materials, tools and manpower to keep projects running efficiently Liaising with project managers, engineers, clients and other trades on site Monitoring progress, productivity and variations across large‐scale projects Overseeing testing, commissioning and final handover Maintaining accurate and compliant site documentation About You To be successful in this role, you'll bring: Proven experience as an HVAC Supervisor on commercial construction projects Strong technical understanding of commercial heating and air conditioning systems A background in fabrication or mechanical/engineering environments (advantageous)Confidence interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications Demonstrated experience leading teams and coordinating subcontractors A leadership style that is firm, fair and respected on site Strong commitment to health and safety best practice A full, clean driver's licence Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends when required Applicants must be a NZ Citizen or hold NZ Permanent Residency.
