About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of Taranaki's leading Commercial Property team. The role involves working on a variety of commercial transactions, from small/medium size sales and purchases, through to significant M&A transactions, commercial contracts of all nature and sizes, asset and succession planning, commercial property buying, selling, management and leasing. You will also be responsible for overseeing and supporting residential conveyancing transactions
The ideal candidate will be confident in handling commercial and property matters with autonomy and a proactive approach. While the role requires a high degree of independence, Connect Legal provides strong mentorship and guidance from senior team members and Directors, ensuring ongoing professional growth and support.
About You
Connect Legal is looking for a candidate with at least two years of post-qualification experience who brings:
- Proven experience across a broad range of commercial and property law matters
- Exposure to trusts and estates (advantageous but not essential)
- The ability to confidently manage files from start to finish
- Strong communication skills to build and maintain client relationships
- A proactive, self-motivated approach
- A friendly, team-oriented personality that fits seamlessly into the firm's culture
- Passion for the work you do and aspirations for career growth
