The purpose of this role is to develop a schedule to assist the plant in meeting Difotis targets and to exceed customer expectations regarding quality, delivery in full, and on time. This role reports to the Supply Chain Manager. Why Work with Us?Southern Cross healthcare cover Discounted gym memberships Great environment and team culture Innovative dairy company As a critical member of the team, this role is accountable for developing a production schedule to ensure the plant meets DIFOT targets, primarily utilizing SAP. Successful candidates will be able to: Develop and maintain accurate supply plans based on production forecasts, customer demand, and seasonal variances. Use SAP and MRP systems to create and manage production schedules, ensuring the availability of raw materials and packaging. Collaborate with production and procurement teams to align supply plans with business objectives. Monitor and control inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to prevent shortages or overstock situations. Conduct regular inventory reconciliations using SAP to ensure data accuracy. Implement inventory optimization strategies, including safety stock levels and reorder points. Review and adjust MRP outputs to address supply chain disruptions or demand changes. Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues. Liaise with Milk Supply, Production, Logistics, and Quality teams to ensure supply chain efficiency. Support the implementation of new SAP functionalities or upgrades to enhance supply chain capabilities. Track key supply chain KPIs, such as inventory turnover, service level, and forecast accuracy. Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in supply and inventory processes. Create new SKUs for the business. Ensure master data is reviewed regularly to maintain data hygiene and integrity. Experience: Minimum five (5) years’ experience working with SAP, data analysis, and in-depth knowledge of Dairy/FMCG will be advantageous. Skills: Excellent planning and time management skills. Ability to work collaboratively and build cross-functional and cross-geographical partnerships. Qualifications: Supply chain qualification – CPIM will be advantageous, or 5 years of on-the-job experience in supply planning and inventory management.
