    You’ll be reporting to the Team Coachwhere you will be supporting people in their own home environment. Our support includes:

  • talking and connecting
  • understanding their needs and helping to achieve everyday activities
  • identifying goals and helping to achieve their goals
  • creating a connection with the community
  • living a healthy life and improving physical health
  • medication support
  • securing and thriving in training or a job.
  • You| Mōu

  • You must hold New Zealand residency or have a current New Zealand work permit.
  • You must hold a current full New Zealand driver’s licence.
  • You must hold a current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one.
  • An understanding and commitment to the principles of recovery.
  • Applicants must hold the Level 4 New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent. Alternatively, you will be willing to commence study towards this within six months of starting your employment with Pathways. This needs to be completed within two years of commencement. Pathways offers significant support for support workers to complete this study.
  • Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the principles of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
