Here you will be exposed to several runs which include tertiary level caseloads. The opportunity to provide healthcare to a large geographical area, ensuring your exposure to a wide range of work. Great support for educational needs, including weekly teaching, case discussions, journal clubs, and peer review sessions. In a department that has a strong academic presence, opportunities for successful candidates will be far and wide, and will involve the ability to undertake research as part of training: • General Surgery• Colorectal• Hepatobiliary pancreatic and Oesophagogastric• Acute Surgical• Vascular Surgery• Breast Surgery• Hepatobiliary• Plastics• Urology• Neurosurgery• Reliever There is also the possibility of rotations to: Cardiothoracic Surgery (one Registrar every six months) ICU (one Registrar every six months) We have a unionised after-hours roster in place, with 21 registrars on the rotation. The runs available will depend on the start date of the successful candidate.
