The Role
This key role combines systems expertise and effective communication skills. To represent Fusion, we are looking for an individual with an ear for listening and a knack for communicating technical concepts to non-technical customers.
The role is a mix of project delivery, support and maintenance of customer environments, from SMEs to large enterprises. You will need to be comfortable working across the full project lifecycle, from scoping to delivery. You will ensure projects meet customer deadlines and specifications, being able to foresee and solve or flag potential issues in their delivery.
We strive to develop lasting partnerships and connect with our customers. This means our roles require a combination of remote and on-site work with our customers' teams.
Responsibilities
Managing Fusion Network Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS)
Effectively manage infrastructure using scripting and automation tools, e.g. Power Shell and Ansible
Be a platform engineer managing backup and recovery platforms such as Veeam and Dell Datto
Ensure M365 and Azure AD environments are secure, efficient and meeting needs.
About you
Your communication and customer service skills are exceptional, and you love to take ownership of everything you do. You’re passionate about IT, stay up to date with latest tech developments and love to challenge the status quo. You intuitively are:
A quick thinker and natural trouble-shooter with strong diagnostic skills
Professional and well presented
Able to work autonomously and prioritise a busy workload
Passionate about IT and continuous learning
Able to adeptly resolve tasks and communicate outcomes
The formalities
Clean criminal record and legal right to work in NZ. At this stage we will not be considering those who need sponsorship/AEWV.
