A rare opportunity to reset hiring: simplify, automate, and lift capability — fast.
We are looking for an experienced in-house TA leader to design and deliver a modern, cohort-based approach across multiple disciplines; while strengthening candidate experience and employer reputation.
What you'll be responsible for: Streamline and automate the hire-to-onboard journey in Oracle HCM (including a Redwood upgrade), reducing cycle time and administration.
Lift hiring manager capability through practical, influence-first tools (intake, structured assessment, scorecards, candidate communications).
Build a scalable bulk hiring model aligned to seasonal peaks (pools, screening, templates, comms automation).
Improve sourcing and reduce agency reliance through stronger screening, pipelines and better use of candidate sourcing tools.
Translate employer brand work into consistent, human candidate touchpoints and feedback loops.
Create fit-for-purpose approaches for offshore entities supported by NZ HR.
What you'll do: Set the TA strategy and annual plan aligned to workforce demand and peaks.
Redesign recruitment workflows end-to-end, remove friction, and embed the 'right way' as the default through Oracle templates, automation and simple governance.
Partner with HRIS/IT to configure Oracle Recruiting/Onboarding, improve reporting discipline and data quality.
Strengthen selection quality through structured hiring practices and pragmatic guidance (including appropriate use of psychometrics).
Build sourcing muscle: talent mapping where it matters, targeted campaigns, and a repeatable screening approach that prevents managers drowning in applications.
Lead and develop your team, protecting focus on transformation while maintaining reliable service delivery.
What you'll bring: Senior in-house TA leadership experience, including leading a TA team or function.
A proven track record delivering measurable improvements in hiring speed, quality and candidate experience through process redesign and adoption.
Strong stakeholder influence in complex, decentralised environments.
Sourcing and screening depth, with practical experience improving channel ROI and reducing agency dependence.
Systems fluency (Oracle, Workday, Success Factors or similar) and confidence translating business needs into workable configuration.
Commercial judgement managing suppliers and demonstrating value through transparent reporting.
Why join: A genuine transformation mandate with Executive visibility and the chance to leave a lasting legacy.
Work that blends strategy and delivery — you'll build the plan and make it real.
An organisation ready to invest in simplification, automation and capability uplift.
