About the role
Take full ownership of the full lifecycle of bid writing and submission process for large-scale electrical proposals and tenders
Lead a team of three Estimators ensuring collaboration, accuracy and alignment of bids to client requirements
Interpret technical commercial concepts and translate into compelling, competitive and successful proposals
Maintain excellent communication channels with project delivery teams and key stakeholders
Manage a collection of reusable template documents, case studies and pricing narratives to ensure efficient and consistent bids
Persistently review and refine estimation processes, tender inputs and pricing strategies to match industry changes
Skills and Experience
A minimum of 5 years of experience writing and developing complex project bids in the electrical industry, with the strongest candidates bringing a demonstrated understanding of high voltage tenders and associated requirements
Thorough understanding of project estimation principles, cost modelling and schedules
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to maximise stakeholder engagement and cross-team delivery
Demonstrated understanding of risk management, direct and indirect cost components and contingency planning, with a strong grasp of regulatory and procurement methodologies
Experience leading high‐performing estimation teams, managing multiple workstreams and deadlines
