Join a leading Systems Integrator across Australia and New Zealand Fantastic employee benefits and work culture Lead and develop a team in a rapid growth organisation Fusion5 is now seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager of Managed Services to join our senior leadership team and drive growth across our Managed Services practice based in either Sydney or Melbourne.
As the General Manager of Managed Services, you will be responsible for leading and maturing our Managed Services practice as well as driving growth.
You will work closely with cross-functional areas of the business to identify relevant and new product offerings and ensure exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction while fostering a culture of excellence within your team.
Key responsibilities: Commercial responsibility for the Managed Services practice, responsible for driving annuities and running a profitable Managed Services business.
Create, implement and execute sales and growth strategies to grow the managed services offering.
Collaborate with the rest of the business to identify, create and incorporate Managed Services offerings into our standard offerings.
Establish and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for service delivery.
Monitor performance to contract, and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
Lead and mentor our team of managed services professionals, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver high-quality service.
Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and innovation, driving automation to enhance efficiency, service quality, customer satisfaction, and operating margins.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction with the services provided.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of managed services, ensuring that services are delivered efficiently and meet established service level agreements (SLAs) within the ITIL framework.
Ensure Managed Services contracts are commercially appropriate for individual customers and that they are regularly reviewed to ensure quality outcomes.
Implement and manage contract, operational, and risk governance to ensure contractual obligations are delivered and risks managed.
Manage relationships with third-party vendors and partners to ensure that external services align with Fusion5’s quality standards and requirements.
Our ideal candidate will have: 10 or more years of experience in growing and leading IT managed services practices, or a closely related field using the ITIL operational framework.
Prior experience in a growth leadership role, with strong commercial acumen.
Experience in leading and developing managed services offerings that are competitive while protecting margins.
Experience working with augmented onshore and offshore resources providing 24/7 time coverage for core operations.
A strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, and relevant technologies.
Experience in developing and maintaining managed services contracts to support effective delivery and commercial outcomes.
Proficiency in managed service contract management methodologies and tools, with experience in managing a range of size managed services contracts.
