Description

Join Te Whatu Ora at a key time of change where you will meaningfully contribute to our kaupapa of creating a more equitable, accessible, cohesive and people-centred health system. This is mahi that will improve the health and wellbeing of everyone in Aotearoa, and we've got an opportunity for you to be part of it.

Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

Our Digital Enterprise Services team leads the way in merging our ICT infrastructure, reducing duplication to simplify our operations, making things smoother to handle and maintain. We're all about striving for excellence!

Our team plays a crucial role in building a strong digital foundation and ensuring operational success. We're the driving force behind our organisation's modern infrastructure, adapting to evolving technology while ensuring stability, scalability, and modernisation. Our focus is not just on technology but also on delivering top-notch service.

We've got a lot on our plate! From overseeing the national ITSM and Service Desk functions to managing workspace tools, core infrastructure, integration platforms, and more, we've got you covered. We're here to build upon our rich history and legacy, ushering in the future with contemporary platforms that seamlessly transition us from the old ways to the new.

Mōu | About you

As our Group Manager Hybrid Multi-Cloud, you will be leading our biggest technical team within Digital Enterprise Services, which is a rewarding challenge that will involve collaborating with other tech groups. As we navigate the shift from traditional IT to our hybrid multi-cloud future, you will guide our team through this transition, helping them map their career growth from the past to the future.

You'll also be at the forefront of investment decisions, timing, commitment, and execution, and overcoming obstacles to ensure the right choices at the right time will be a central part of your role. Implementing our Cloud-First strategy and pushing through obstacles is equally important. It's like two sides of the same coin. We need your expertise in driving programs, projects, investments, and initiatives in the right direction, putting an end to old practices and embracing new ways, even if they're challenging.

You will lead our Hybrid Multi-Cloud capabilities, including people, processes, and platforms, which will be crucial for our success. Simplifying our complex support structure by standardising technologies and methods will free up investment resources for innovation, ultimately speeding up our infrastructure delivery to meet demands. You'll foster a culture of continuous improvement for systems and services, ensuring availability aligns with service levels and customer expectations.

We're committed to fairness, so focusing on Hybrid Multi-Cloud investments in regions that need it most is a core objective. This way, smaller and more rural locations won't lag behind in service development and deployments. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring Hybrid Multi-Cloud representation in change programs, aligning our direction and empowering your teams with the right tools and training for successful implementation and ongoing support.

Preference will be given to applications of significantly affected Kaimahi through the change process.
