We are implementing the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) , offering an exciting chance to integrate leadership within an internationally-minded framework.
Key responsibilities and expected outcomes:
Curriculum Leadership: Plan and deliver engaging learning programmes that are meaningful and fun, focusing on strong outcomes in literacy and mathematics.
Administration: Manage cohort budgets , RAMS, and EOY Y8 events. Be prepared for all critical meetings with key personnel.
Collaborative Impact: Collaborate with the team, students, and parents to promote the best student outcomes (academic, social, and emotional).
Student Wellbeing: Demonstrate a strong commitment to student wellbeing and inclusive practices , ensuring all students feel valued and supported.
School Culture: Uphold the school's special character and culture , embracing the co-curricular life with a willingness to dive into extra-curricular activities.
What we are looking for:
We seek a leader who possesses:
New Zealand Teacher Registration (full).
Relevant academic qualifications ( Bachelor's or Master's degree ) and appropriate Teaching Qualifications.
Excellent curriculum knowledge with the ability to make learning accessible and exciting.
Strong organisational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
The ability to relate effectively to young people, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
