Who you will be working with DXC Security is one of the few companies in Australia & New Zealand that can provide end-to-end security solutions—from expert advisory services to fully managed security operations, enabling the delivery of complete remediation plans and security improvement programs.

Responsibilities: Configurate, maintain and report on both on-prem and cloud-based security services.

Support product updates, enhancements, and customer.

Liaise and troubleshoot with other DXC support teams, account teams, 3rd party vendors, suppliers and customers.

Support investigations of potential security violations, threats, and breaches.

Provide engineering technical support and/or assistance to projects.

Participate in a program of continuous maintenance and upkeep of infrastructure and applications associated with the security services.

Assist in security assessments where required to ensure adherence to customer specific security policy, procedures, and industry standards.

The skills you will bring: Significant experience working in IT/OT security operations for medium and/or large enterprises.

Deep understanding experience and knowledge working with standard operating systems, including install, configuration, operational troubleshooting and patching.

Demonstrated experience working with a suite of security products such as: Checkpoint, NGFW, Cisco ASA/ Cisco FWSM, Fortinet Forti Gate, Palo Alto NGFW, Citrix Netscaler, Forcepoint Triton, Trellix, Broadcom, Defender, and Crowdstrike.

Either: Diploma/Certificate/Degree in Information Technology (Security preferred).

Relevant industry/vendor certifications such as PCCSA, PCNSA, CCNA, NSE 4+, CCNP, CCSE, Security+, Network+, SSCP.

Experience in customer service support including the handling and resolution of customer escalations, incident handling, and Priority 1 incident response.

Experience working in cloud environment including Amazon Web Services/Microsoft Azure/Google Cloud.

Fundamental understanding of the TCP/IP and networking concepts (OSI model) to troubleshoot connectivity issues.

Understanding of known IT security control functions such as Network IDS/IPS, Vulnerability Scanning, Endpoint Protection, Firewalls, Cloud Access Security Brokers.

Understanding of Australian ITSM, Essential 8 and ITIL framework.

Strong team player with a can-do attitude who can work together with others.
