Summerset is looking for a H&S System Administrator based in Wellington ideally and reporting to the Health and Safety Risk and Assurance Manager.

Auckland or Christchurch candidates can be considered too.

This newly created role will be instrumental in helping Summerset Group deliver its newly signed-off H&S Strategy by providing fast, knowledgeable and proactive support across the H&S Information System.

You will bring your valuable experience to the team contributing to our Health & Safety vision of Safe People, Safe Process and Safe Places.

What will your responsibilities be?Be the 'Super User' for the H&S Information System, with an initial emphasis on the system configuration and roll-out. Work with Group Technology to ensure that the interfaces with H&S software and other systems including master-data sources, work effectively and accurately Work with Group Tech and/or external providers to ensure on-boarding processes for new team members Support H&S Management to ensure the system provides information through its reporting processes that enable management understanding and decision making Work with Vendors and Group Tech teams to ensure any application enhancements or upgrades are delivered with minimum system disruption.

Build and maintain strong working relationships and maintain regular contact with Group Technology, and HRIS and H&S software vendors.

Who we are looking for?System administration experience, including ownership of database systems or an ERPH&S and HRIS administration and reporting experience desirable Proven knowledge in the operation of business information systems including SQL database, numeracy, and Microsoft Excel skills Strong continuous improvement, innovation, and creative ability Excellent time management and organisation skills, with high attention to detail Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills - and demonstrates a common-sense approach in dealing with issues and people About Summerset Summerset is one of New Zealand's fastest growing companies, the second largest retirement village operator, and is listed on the NZX and ASX.
