ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is responsible for coordinating and overseeing training delivery resources and processes of Ventia Training, ensuring training programs and solutions are delivered to a high standard of quality and are a positive experience for delivery staff and learners
Some key responsibilities include
Coordinate the effective and efficient onboarding and enrolment experience of learners.
Review training program development, access, deployment and performance against best practice learner engagement requirements.
Monitor implementation of delivery processes (digital & non-digital) to achieve a high quality 'user experience' for participants during their relationship with Ventia Training.
Review feedback. Ensuring quality assurance checks are implemented & at-risk participants are supported.
Implement effective reporting through data analysis
Ensure accredited training standards and practices adhere to NZQA requirements.
Develop and execute Training and Assessment Strategies, for nominated Sectors
Business stakeholder discussions on training needs and develop impact analysis and plans.
Monitor currency of training packages and materials. Evaluate and analyse impact of package updates from national training system
Coordinate formal moderation and recommend continuous improvement.
Recommend and schedule program updates in collaboration with SMEs and development team.
ABOUT YOU
The Learning and Engagement Lead will be a self-starting, highly competent individual with the technical knowledge and tools required for technical training delivery; and also have the softer skills required to effectively deliver learning content to a diverse workforce ranging from leaders to geographically dispersed technical tradespeople or administrators.
This achievement-oriented, creative performer will be highly autonomous yet open to feedback; have well-developed critical thinking skills and the ability to solve challenging problems.
Experienced with the National Training System (NZQA)
Experience with Training delivery
Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for training programs, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Excellent English communication skills (oral and written) and active listening skills.
Strong coaching and facilitation skills
Intermediate to advanced computer literacy; experienced with e-Learning tools and emerging methodologies.
Experience or exposure in using WiseNet or Moodle or other similar eLearning development tools, or ability to easily pick this up.
Travel to other locations and working away from the office would be required occasionally. This is a part-time role at.8 FTE, working 4 days a week.
We are at this stage only considering applications with full work rights in New Zealand. This role will preferably be based in Auckland.
