Help Desk & IT Support (Information & Communication Technology)Gorilla Technology is seeking a IT Support Engineer (Mid-Senior/L2/L3) to join our team.

Working in this innovative and growing team within Gorilla you will be working collaboratively with Information Technology and Cyber Security functions and will be supported and led by our Technical Operations Manager who oversees this team.

This role is based in Auckland, NZ and will have significant client and wider stakeholder facing interactions.

About you: A positive and 'can do' attitude Proven leadership experience Have a high level of empathy for clients and colleagues Able to manage your own tasks, projects and time effectively NZ citizenship, permanent residency or NZ working rights Great spoken and written English An ability to learn technical things quickly Living in proximity to Auckland CBD is helpful Full license is helpful Skills that would be beneficial for you to bring to the table include great people skills, a friendly phone manner and an ability to communicate with people at all levels.

Skills & Technical Attributes Minimum 5 years working in a managed service provider (MSP or MSSP) or similar IT services and support team Proficiency in configuring and managing Microsoft 365, Windows, Mac OS, Servers, Azure, AWS, Virtual Machines, Firewalls, Networking, Backup and Endpoint Protection Exceptional problem-solving acumen and analytical prowess Knowledge with Cyber Security and Business Continuity Experience using SQL is preferable Automation expertise is preferable: Power Shell, Zapier, Microsoft Power Automate, Power Platform, etc An interest in taking advantage of the latest technologies such as Artificial Intelligence tools such as Azure AI Studio, Chat GPT, Microsoft Copilot Mobile Application Management / Mobile Device Management eg.

Intune/Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferable but not a firm requirement Role relevant experience or certifications such as Microsoft Certified Professional, Fortinet NSE, Comp TIA A+, Network+, or similar Acquaintance with New Zealand's IT industry standards and practices, especially within the realm of small-medium enterprises Your application will include the following questions: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?How would you rate your English language skills?How many years' experience do you have in the IT industry?What's your expected annual base salary?Are you available to work outside your usual hours when required?
