As a Modern Workplace Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our customer end-user computing and device solutions, primarily focused on the modern management of desktops, devices, and virtual desktop infrastructure. You'll provide senior-level advice and solutions to customers in schools, universities, small businesses, and government bodies.
We're looking for someone with a solid understanding of technologies and business processes, the curiosity to stay across emerging trends, and the enthusiasm to share your knowledge with customers and colleagues.
What you will do
A Modern Workplace Engineer will ensure the successful delivery of projects and provide technical expertise and support. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Design, implement, and manage modern workplace solutions for our customers
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and tailor solutions accordingly
Deploy and support collaboration tools and other technologies
Ensure security and compliance in modern workplace environments
Provide end-user training and support to enhance the adoption of new technologies
Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies
What you will bring
You’ll be hungry to learn, have excellent planning and organization skills, be detail-oriented, and take satisfaction from completing assigned work to a high standard. We expect our Engineers to have a can-do attitude while going over and above to help our customers use the right technology solution.
Your key experience includes:
3+ years’ experience supporting Microsoft 365 and/or Modern Workplace solutions
Tertiary ICT/computer qualifications or equivalent experience
Some knowledge of Google productivity environments and Apple desktops would be desirable
Strong customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills
An ability to work as part of a large team while taking responsibility for your work.
