About the Opportunity
Teaching, Assessment and Curriculum Development
Design and deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in programming, cybersecurity, networking, and/or web/software development
Develop and maintain curriculum content that reflects current industry trends and technological advances
Create effective assessment methods that evaluate both theoretical knowledge and practical skills
Research and Scholarly Activity
Conduct research in ICT fields and publish in peer-reviewed journals
Engage in collaborative research projects with academic and industry partners
Contribute to technological innovations and advancements in the field
Present findings at academic conferences and industry events
Student Support
Mentor and guide students in their academic and professional development
Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects
Provide career guidance and industry insights
Foster an inclusive learning environment that supports diverse student needs
What You Will Bring
Required Qualifications and Experience
Master's degree or Ph D in Information Technology or related field
Preferably teaching experience in higher education or equivalent industry experience
Proven track record in academic research or professional projects
Strong publication history in peer-reviewed journals or significant industry contributions
Technical Skills
Programming proficiency in languages such as Python, Java Script, and C++
Expertise in networking infrastructure, protocols, and cybersecurity practices
Knowledge of web development (front-end/back-end) and database management
Experience with current industry tools and technologies
Teaching and Research Capabilities
Demonstrated ability to create engaging learning environments
Experience in course design and e-learning platforms
Strong research and analytical skills
Excellent English communication skills
Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds
