Surgical Technologist II
Brigham and Women's Hospital is offering a full-time night position (40 hours) with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible new hires. This role is part of a three-level surgical technologist career ladder.
Responsibilities: The Surgical Tech plays a vital role in the operating room, responsible for preparing and maintaining the environment and assisting with peri-operative patient care. They collaborate closely with surgeons and nurses to ensure smooth operations. A strong understanding of sterile techniques and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program
- Current Surgical Technologist Certification required within one year of graduation or if employed as a surgical technologist before July 1, 2013, or if completed military or public health service training
- Minimum two years' experience in an acute care setting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree
- Four years' experience as a Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
