Disability Support Worker - Personal Care Assistant
Blossom Community Care is a registered NDIS provider offering an extensive range of supports and services to help participants reach their goals.
Role Overview:
We are looking for dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our team.
In this role, you will provide essential support to NDIS participants, including personal care assistance and manual handling. Responsibilities also include assisting participants in achieving personal goals, supporting with domestic duties, facilitating community access, and managing travel and transport arrangements.

Ability to work effectively in both team and independent settings, with a willingness to take on responsibility.

Proficiency in using technology, including smartphones and computers.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience
Must have completed or be enrolled in one or more of the following:
Cert III in Individual Service
Cert IV in Disability
Cert IV in Aged Care Diploma of Nursing
Position Requirements
NDIS Screening Check
Must have up-to-date First Aid and CPR certificate
Working with Children's Check
Valid Australian Drivers Licence
A reliable car with comprehensive car insurance and the willingness to use your vehicle for work purposes
A reliable smartphone with data
Skills and Experience
Helping with personal hygiene and daily tasks while respecting dignity.
Safely assisting with physical tasks like lifting and transferring participants.
Dedicated to helping participants achieve personal goals with encouragement.
Works well in a team and independently with initiative.
Proficient with smartphones, computers, and relevant technology.
Upholds ethical standards, confidentiality, and professionalism.
