Senior Full Stack Developer, Gisborne

This role is for an experienced and motivated full stack developer that wants to use the latest technologies to build new products and services for use in the Australian and New Zealand automotive industries.

Evaluating appropriate technology to use including custom building and out of the box solutions.

Identify, engage & manage external vendors if required to ensure delivery of technology solutions that meets the company’s needs in a timely manner.

To be successful in this role the individual must be able to carry out all the above duties satisfactorily and have the following:

4+ years minimum work experience as a hands-on developer

Proficient in Node Js and React Js (or alternatives such as Angular and Vue). Experience in Java EE and other open source technology is a bonus.

Experience designing and implementing cloud based solutions in either GCP or AWS.

Experience in containerisation (docker, kubernetes, etc) and cloud native technology.

Experience in No SQL and SQL databases - Firebase/Firestore is a bonus.

Experience in delivering end to end technology solutions.

Experience in developing CI/CD process utilising tools such as Github Actions, Gitlab pipeline, Jenkins or similar

Experience in Infrastructure as Code technology - Terraform or similar.

Experience in agile software development methodologies and best practices.

Keep up to date with industry best practices and technologies and implement them appropriately.

Education and/or Experience – Suitable university qualifications and/or experience.

Language skills – Good command of the English language.

Reasoning ability – Strong logical reasoning ability.
