The Role

PerioCARE in Auckland is looking for a reliable and positive Senior Dental Assistant to join our highly-experienced team.

You will work closely with our periodontist in various periodontal procedures and implant surgery with IV sedation.

As part of the team, you will be called on to support other team members on other clinical and administrative jobs when you are able.

Chairside-assist our periodontist in various periodontal procedures and implant surgeries with IV Sedation
Prepares the surgery for periodontal procedures, implant surgery with IV Sedation and exam appointments
Sterilizing of instruments
In charge of orders and invoices

Work Hours
Tuesdays 7:00 am - 4:30pm
Wednesdays 7:00 am -7:30 pm
Thursdays 7:00am - 4:30pm
Fridays 7:00am - 4:30pm
No weekends

Key Requirments 
NZ Certificate of Dental Assisting preferred
Specialist care background desirable
IV sedation qualification
Strong work ethic - meticulous work habits, punctual, reliable and excellent attention to detail.
Willingness to learn
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work well in a team and take initiative
Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills
A warm, engaging and approachable nature
