Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer (United Kingdom, Remote)
We are looking for an experienced engineer to lead the design of complex signalised junctions, pedestrian crossings, and intelligent traffic control systems across various high-profile infrastructure projects. This role offers a 50/50 split between home working and onsite presence —ideal for surveys, design validations, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site inspections, surveys, commissioning, and supervision
- Prepare technical designs of complex signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings, including technical specifications
- Provide technical oversight for new product or service ideas and plan development
- Prepare complex MOVA designs and datasets
- Ensure compliance with standards such as TSRGD, DMRB, and the Traffic Signs Manual
- Validate MOVA systems for complex junctions and roundabouts
Candidate Profile:
Ideal candidates will have experience designing signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings, seeking to advance to a Senior Design Services Engineer role with a fresh perspective on Traffic Signal Design solutions.
Key Requirements:
- Proficiency with Auto CAD, Keysignals, OSC Mapper, Auto TURN
- Microsoft Office skills
- Knowledge of TOPAS 2500 A Traffic Signal Controller
- Understanding of MOVA tools, datasets, and linking
- Experience with Lin Sig 3
- Full UK driving license
