He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Professional to join our supportive, friendly and multidisciplinary team within the Adult Community Mental Health Service here at the Bay of Plenty District Health Board (BOPDHB).
Our North team at the BOPDHB provides quality Mental Health Community Care to the Adult population of Tauranga all the way out to Waihi Beach. The team consists of Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Nurses, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists.
The focus is to deliver high quality care to the growing population in the Bay of Plenty. At the heart of our services are our CARE values – Compassion, All-One-Team, Responsive and Excellence.

The ideal applicant would have a minimum of three years of experience in Mental Health, including Community based care. You need to be willing to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. We are looking for teammates who are passionate about lifelong learning in this field and are willing to ask questions.
