Do you have familiarity with artificial intelligence tools particularly GPTs such as Co Pilot or Chat GPT?
Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Learning Designer for the Ethical Use of AI to join the Te Kōtuinga Mātauranga – Centre for Academic Development team on a 12-month, fixed-term, full-time contract.
Key responsibilities:
Provide learning design of courses and learning experiences facilitating the ethical use of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Develop and maintain resources on the impact of AI on pedagogy and its impact on learning and teaching practices, including the impact of AI on academic integrity.
Communicate knowledge of established, emerging and experimental AI learning technologies and methodologies.
Contribute towards and promote scholarship of the ethical use of AI in learning and teaching.
You will be a motivated, customer-focused individual who can take the initiative, provide excellent advice and support to University staff, and create compelling learning materials supporting the ethical and inclusive use of artificial intelligence.
Key requirements:
Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools particularly GPTs such as Co Pilot or Chat GPT.
Experience in modern/digital online modes of delivery and instructional design methodologies.
Knowledge of current pedagogical theories.
Proven experience in the use of digital technologies for teaching and learning, preferably in the tertiary sector.
