We have identified the Manager People Advisory & Systems as a key new role in the People, Safety & Culture team. You will be leading the generalist advisory tima who are the first point of contact for leaders and kaimahi when they have any people-related queries or concerns. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this role will lead the development and enhancement of HR business partnering and systems to support ongoing people-centred leadership capability uplift across the organisation. We are looking for your expertise, experience and confidence in: Leading a team of human resources/people capability practitioners. Managing workloads and escalations. Capability or organisational development. Relevant New Zealand employment legislation. Employment/industrial relations and change management. Developing initiatives designed to effect long-term culture and behaviour change. Bringing people on the journey to successfully implement change. Biculturalism is a founding philosophy and practice of Te Papa designed to explore the contribution of Maori language and culture to the life, culture and activities of the museum in small and large ways. Te Papa fosters and nurtures cross-cultural capability, the ability of people of different cultural backgrounds to interact with one another in positive and uplifting ways. We look to our leaders to live and support this capability. The starting salary this position will be between $131,200 to $155,700 pa with further room for progression through the band. Offers will be made within the range to reflect the skills and experience offered by the candidate and those required of the role, and internal relativities with other employees.
