• Leading and contributing to the day-to-day running of the library• Designing and delivering literacy and learning activities for children, youth, and families• Providing excellent customer service to children and youth• Fostering a sense of belonging in the library space• Collaborating with the Connected Communities network
• Experienced librarian with LIANZA professional registration• Sound knowledge of library technologies and processes• Ability to plan and evaluate innovative programs and events• Skill in building relationships with young people, schools, and peers• Comfortable with technology and supporting customers in using library resources• Flexible and collaborative approach to work• Attention to detail and organizational skills• Passion for making a difference in the community• Strong children and youth readers advisory skills
