Rural Consultant
to join our Feilding-based National Advice and Service Centre.
About the Role:
As a Rural Consultant, you will:
Manage and retain a portfolio of rural clients by discussing upcoming renewals, presenting risk management solutions, and ensuring their insurance needs are met.
Collaborate with our Sales, Advice, and Service frontline team to deliver exceptional service across New Zealand.
Engage with clients primarily over the phone.
This role is crucial to FMG’s growth and involves being part of both a local team and a national channel.
What We’re Looking For:
Exceptional customer service skills, particularly over the phone.
Ability to learn and navigate different technology platforms, along with FMG’s policies and procedures.
Positive and enthusiastic attitude with a never-ending commitment to the client.
Drive to solve problems, achieve targets, embrace change, and stay calm under pressure.
Inclusive and open mindset in line with our values.
A rural background is advantageous but not necessary.

A full-time role (37.5 hours per week) with set shifts across five days (Monday to Friday) between 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
