Whangārei Girls’ High School is seeking a passionate and innovative teacher to join our dynamic team. This position offers a unique opportunity to teach integrated STEAMM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics & Mātauranga Māori) to Y9 and 10 students. The successful candidate will be committed to fostering a collaborative, inquiry-based learning environment that inspires students to think critically, problem-solve, and innovate.
The successful candidate will design and deliver engaging, project-based learning experiences that integrate STEAMM concepts across disciplines. They will collaborate with other teachers to create rich learning opportunities and share expertise. By fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, the candidate will motivate and challenge students.
Suitable for primary or secondary trained teachers and beginning teachers.
11 hours per week.
