Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Test Analyst to join our dynamic team. The role will focus on supporting key programs and projects across the financial services sector, with a primary focus on testing and quality assurance. This individual will work closely with business users, IT teams, and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality testing, defect resolution, and smooth implementation of business changes.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively contribute to all stages of the testing process, ensuring that all testing activities are planned, executed, and reported effectively to guarantee successful project outcomes.
Convert business requirements into actionable and effective test cases, ensuring thorough coverage of all functional and non-functional requirements.
Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts, manage defect retesting, and ensure high-quality delivery of business-critical systems and applications.
Work closely with business users, IT teams, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment in testing activities and successful execution of testing deliverables.
Oversee the management of test environments and data, ensuring full traceability of requirements and data integrity throughout the testing process.
Monitor defects throughout the testing cycle, drive resolution processes, and escalate risks and issues as necessary to ensure timely delivery.
Contribute to post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement efforts aimed at optimizing testing processes and enhancing overall project quality.
Requirements:
10+ Years of Testing Experience: Extensive experience in testing within business or financial services environments, particularly in ensuring the quality of complex business systems.
Experienced with UAT testing
Proven ability to effectively collaborate and work with offshore teams, managing and delivering testing projects across multiple locations.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives.
Strong understanding of IT systems, along with experience in SQL troubleshooting and using test management tools like Octane, JIRA, and Confluence.
Familiarity with financial services testing, including specialized areas like unit price testing, is highly desirable.
