Auckland One Rail is seeking a dedicated and proactive CRL Station Control Tester on a fixed-term basis until 31st December 2025. As a CRL Station Control Tester for the City Rail Link (CRL) project, you will play a pivotal role in the testing and commissioning phase. You will be responsible for executing comprehensive testing activities during various stages to ensure the seamless integration of Station Control Centre systems while collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders. Your contribution will be vital to the successful deployment of the CRL operations project, demonstrating a commitment to quality and adherence to industry standards and regulations. In this critical position, you will test station operations, ensuring the safety and effective functioning of stations across Auckland's commuter network for both passengers and staff. You will manage day-to-day station activities, coordinate with various departments, and respond effectively to incidents. This role requires flexibility to work across AOR locations and CRL project offices within Auckland City, including testing at night or on weekends. Requirements Previous experience in a similar role within the transport industry is preferred. Transferable experience as a police communicator or emergency dispatcher is highly regarded. Strong understanding of safety regulations and operational procedures such as emergency evacuations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Proven ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure during incidents or emergencies. Strong computer literacy with confidence in learning new systems. Customer service-focused mindset, committed to enhancing the customer experience. A full, clean NZ Driver's license is required.
