The Benefits | Ngā āhuatanga kei a mātou Increased Employer Kiwisaver contribution Fifth week of Annual Leave (after 12 months of employment)Paid Wellbeing Days (2 days a year)Health Now Payment Card - $250 per year to support Health and Wellbeing for you and your whānau The Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.00pm, based in Manukau working across South Auckland. Elements of the role may require travel. This role will involve working within the Housing First service. The wrap-around community housing-based service will have a strong focus on transition, recovery and wellness that empowers tāngata whai ora and whānau to build the capacity to live well. This role would be ideal for a registered health professional, such as an occupational therapist, social worker, Dapaans registered professional, or mental health nurse, who would like to use their professional skills in a transferable way to make a difference in the housing space. You will require a practicing certificate for this role and will be supported to maintain your ongoing professional development needs and professional registration. The position will involve working with and supporting people with high and complex needs, who are often living with intergenerational challenges, mental health, addiction and trauma issues around their needs to find and sustain homes in the community. You'll work within a Housing First philosophy, and have the opportunity to develop skills, knowledge and expertise in the area of housing and homelessness. You will be part of an exciting service that is innovating and growing, where new ideas are encouraged and new solutions are the norm!You | Mōu We'd love to hear from registered health professionals with a range of experience in the mental health and social sectors, particularly (but not necessarily) with experience in housing and residential recovery services. Ideally you will have:current practicing certificate / registered health professional Strong communication and relationship building skills, you'll quickly build credibility while showcasing your sound problem solving and conflict resolution skills.an ability to work at pace and flourish under pressure will be complemented by excellent attention to detail and proficiency in record keeping.knowledge of and demonstrate utmost commitment to the Treaty of Waitangi articles and working with Māori.
