About Dannevirke Dannevirke is a rural service town stepped in Scandinavian heritage in-between the Manawatu & Hawkes Bay regions of the North Island, New Zealand. It is the main centre of the Tararua District and is at the foot of the beautiful Ruahine Ranges. Smack bang in the middle – a short drive over the hill will land you in Palmerton North city, and a short drive in the other direction (north) will take you to the sunny Hawkes Bay, and then, to the east, is the beaches complete with great fishing and diving. What more could you ask for. About the role We have an exciting full-time opportunity for a mixed animal veterinarian with a special interest in the dairy sector. You will be based at our Tararua Vet Services Dannevirke clinic, which covers the Tararua and lower Hawkes Bay areas. The role is predominantly Production Animal but will include Companion Animal duties, including participation in the after-hours roster.
