An opportunity has come up at our Marlborough site for a Vineyard Operator with vineyard experience desirable but all on the job training will be provided.
We are seeking a positive, experienced, and self-motivated individual to join our established viticulture team.
We are happy to work with the right candidate on what hours they can work (3 days a week, school hours etc).

Your unique contribution
This is a varied role, you will be required to work on any of our Marlborough vineyards and be actively involved in all aspects of vineyard work from operating various types of vine management activities, use of LUVs and tractors and tractor mounted implements, irrigation installation and maintenance, grape marc spreading and hand harvesting as required.

Carrying out day to day vineyard tasks safely and efficiently using viticultural best practice
Set up, operate, and maintain vineyard machinery and equipment to a high standard
Actively participate in improving operational effectiveness

Preferred:
Intermediate vineyard experience (1-3years) but all on the job training will be provided.
High level of understanding of viticultural practices
Intermediate skill level operating vineyard equipment and machinery
Ability to work additional hours from time to time, particularly during the Vintage period.
Essential:
Good levels of fitness due to physical nature of role
High standards of work, flexibility, and ability to build strong relationships
Drivers Licence
